In life there is always changes, choices, that we have to face. Chances that come and go never to be had again. Is there a reason for all of it? A sign, an answer to the monstrous mess that's called life. Can we be those people who live, love, and have happiness without fear? Can we trust in things we can't see? If we believe in the impossible is there someone there to catch us if we are let down? Changes are inevitable in life. We have the power to control some of those changes. We have the knowledge to prepare for them. Because, believe it or not, changes are something we were made to endure. We were made to conquer all. We were made to make the power struggle and come out on top. We were made to be good and evil. We have the choice to be who we want to be. Whether we flaunt it or hold it back that is each individuals choice, but that choice has consequences. That choice will bring about changes. Will you be the one to embrace those changes, or will you run from them and be afraid of who you really are?
The descent beckons as the ascent beckoned. - William Carlos Williams, The Descent I have decided that every so often I will write on a quote that is taken from some of the books I read. This one is from Cassandra Claire's The Mortal Instruments Part 3. This quote is talking about heaven and hell. The descent and the ascent. The descent (hell) never stops beckoning to you. It is forever enticing you to go deeper, do something worse than what you've done before. It drags you down and beats you at your own game. It loves to be seen doing it, too. That's why the most humiliating things you get caught at in life are bad. Misery loves company, I guess. The ascent is sort of different. Heaven only asks once. It lets you know it was there and lets you make the choice of if you want to commit or not. It doesn't constantly bug you to go to its side. It's kind. It's loving. It supports the good in you. It wants to make that good come and be a part of everyone...
