Fate's Choice based on Beautiful Creatures

What happens when you cannot feel a thing,
And cannot even make up that one wing.
What if the choice of fate was up to you,
And final choice, light or dark, to pursue.

The time is coming close to near the end.
The moon will take your heart, so don't pretend.
The blood upon your hands is spilled but dry,
And darkened clouds do gather in the sky.

The end of war is coming not too soon,
But smoke chokes out the clarity of June.
I see my family across the field.
Two different sides, my fate decides my shield.

The Light is my extended family.
The Dark contains my wicked mother see?
And still the choice of fate is up to me.
Oh, stuck with fate will I forever be.

The green of eyes will say my choice is yes,
But do I think this choice is for the best?
The swirling golden is my wicked end,
So I'll forget so much I can't pretend.

The information I was given here
Is "claim yourself" or so they say, my dear.
Light or Dark the choice is always from you.
The moon is a planet so you can't sue.

Oh, Light and Dark are in my nature see,
But I can't see through to infinity.
I cannot choose, the curse, I'm scared, flee,
And have to stand and face my destiny.

Changes

In life there is always changes, choices, that we have to face. Chances that come and go never to be had again. Is there a reason for all of it? A sign, an answer to the monstrous mess that's called life. Can we be those people who live, love, and have happiness without fear? Can we trust in things we can't see? If we believe in the impossible is there someone there to catch us if we are let down? Changes are inevitable in life. We have the power to control some of those changes. We have the knowledge to prepare for them. Because, believe it or not, changes are something we were made to endure. We were made to conquer all. We were made to make the power struggle and come out on top. We were made to be good and evil. We have the choice to be who we want to be.
